Onboarding: Providers training

The Provider Onboarding Training program is designed to equip new providers with the essential operational knowledge needed for success. This course focuses on accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding, including which CPT codes are allowed in SNFs, how to properly code encounters, commonly used codes, correct ICD-10 code order, avoiding Z-codes as primary diagnoses, and how to appropriately increase complexity for compliant billing. Accurate coding is emphasized as a vital component of daily workflow and organizational success. The training also includes guidance on navigating EMRs, using the Moxie Link app, completing daily reconciliation, and understanding documentation standards. Providers are encouraged to review materials thoroughly and reach out to leadership with any questions to ensure confidence, compliance, and efficiency in daily practice.
