It emphasizes accurate documentation and coding as the backbone of effective communication, continuity of care, and legal protection. Participants will also address polypharmacy, learning how to conduct medication reviews and apply deprescribing strategies to reduce adverse drug events while maintaining therapeutic goals. In addition, the course covers the care of residents receiving dialysis, highlighting monitoring needs, access care, early warning signs of complications, and effective coordination with dialysis centers. Together, these topics strengthen daily workflows, reduce preventable harm, and improve resident outcomes.
